The position is part of the Manufacturing Engineering, Digital and Analytics department within Cell Therapy Global Manufacturing (CTGM).
The main goal is to drive operational improvements and decision-making excellence through data analytics, models, and algorithms.
The position will lead the development and implementation of data analytics tools and models across the CTGM network.
The position will partner with site & network stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs, translate them into functional requirements for a development team, acting as product owner/manager, capturing user requirements, shaping analytics solutions, and integrating them into business processes.
This role will also support strategic business decisions using data science and modeling.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPartner with Manufacturing subject matter experts to define, prioritize, and document business needs and solution requirements, study and understand the underlying dataWork with external and internal IT partners to develop data analytics and data science solutionsBe a conduit between business and IT on data analytics mattersSupport CTGM planning and decision-making by providing modeling and data analysis expertise where needed:
Optimize manufacturing workforce, capacity, and COGM analytics in partnership with site and above-site functionsBuild scenario modeling tools with operations, development, and finance perspectivesCollaborate with CTGM team and cross-functional stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities for productivity and COGMWork with sites to define and enforce best practices around data managementUnderstand CTGM site operations and capabilities to contribute to process improvement projects and cross-site harmonization initiatives.
REQUIRED COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONSMaster's or Bachelor's degree in STEM or BusinessAt least 6 years of experience in Biotech or Pharma, preferably in a data analytics roleExperience of applying modeling techniques and tools (knowledge of Simio is a big plus)Knowledge of Statistics, Operations ResearchKnowledge of data engineering tools and approaches (Data science background is a big plus)Hands-on experience with either Python or SQLKnowledge of Manufacturing or Supply Chain is big plusKnowledge of Lean / Six Sigma is a big plusBMSCART VETERAN #LI-hybridIf you come across a role that intrigues you but doesn't perfectly line up with your resume, we encourage you to apply anyway.
