With its iconic pony car status this 1968 Ford Mustang makes the hairs on the back of your neck stand up when that 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet motor revs! This is a super solid C-Code, original fastback with a correct cowl hood.
Connected to the period-correct 428 Cobra Jet R-Code motor is a toploader 4-Speed manual transmission, and a 9 rear end with 389 gearing with Detroit lockers.
The rear shocks have been upgraded as well to Viking dual adjustable for a dialed in suspension adjustment.
Chris Alston's power rack and pinion steering, power front disc brakes, MSD digital ignition, functional air induction system, and Fi-Tech fuel injection are just some of the necessary upgrades on this R-code replica.
Painted gloss white on the exterior and correct gloss black C-stripe side vinyl.
15 Magnum 500 wheels with Mickey Thompson rear tires are great for cruising on a highway and then hitting your local track or street race.
The interior is quite stock with factory gauges, seating, and the original rare fold down rear seating.
